Refresh for May Day #13: My Favorite Mascara

Alright, another two for one special today.

Not going to lie, I am a bit of a mascara whore – faithful to none, and constantly looking for the next best thing.  Basically, I keep waiting until a mascara comes out that actually applies false lashes at the same time.  Since that is not going to happen, and that being said, the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill is my new favorite.  Provides great length, definition, and volume.  I unfortunately never have that terrible problem of my lashes hitting my glasses, until I used this product.  It has a great, smooth formulation that doesn’t result in hard, brittle lashes.  Additional coats definitely increase the drama but without the clumpiness like most other mascaras.  To test out the raccoon score, I applied this before a night of call, and even with being up all night and sleeping intermittently for a couple of hours, this product didn’t move.  No smudges, no dark flakes, nothing.  It’s my new favorite 🙂

Also, I am including my favorite mascara base – it really does add length and volume when applied before your usual mascara.  A word, however, about the application.  Apply the base, then immediately apply your mascara before it dries, then move on to the other eye and repeat.  In other words, I wouldn’t apply it to both eyes before beginning to apply your mascara, you still want the base to be “wet” when applying your first coat of mascara.

Cheers!
